About Me
At one of the most difficult times, it is always an honour to help support families, and to hear their stories. Everyone has a story to tell, each one is special and a privilege to hear. I understand the importance of real support, especially in the most challenging of times...what a difference that makes! I am proud to serve the communities of Coventry, Warwickshire and the surrounding areas...and I love being a celebrant!

I am passionate about working as a funeral celebrant, it is so important that families have exactly the support they want and need and a gentle hand along the way. I love the fact that every one of us is different, and so no two funerals will ever be the same...that we can all work together, even at a time of grief, to honour those that we love and to remember them in a way that is just right for them.

I have a long history of working with people in difficult personal circumstances and being able to support people at critical times...always working with people and being motivated to make a difference. I think that is what drives us all in the end.

I listen to what you as a family want, help with ideas and ultimately work to create something as unique as the person who has passed.
Together we will honour and celebrate the life of your loved one, every funeral is different in tone and content, as is each life.

The one you love is at the very centre of the service, with a passion to share their story and convey a strong sense of who they were and what they meant. I love people, their stories and I love writing and creating ceremony. Every time I do this, I am so glad that I can be of service at such a personal time. I lead services of many types, for those with no beliefs or faiths, or many different perspectives. Religion, spirituality or none, the most important thing is that the person that you love is at the centre of all that we do and that those still here have the chance to create a loving, meaningful and personal tribute. What an honour to share that!
Planning Ahead
At a time when the end of life is approaching, many different kinds of support are needed. Some people may want to be a part of planning their own service, or leaving some words and ideas for their funeral. I can work with you on planning your funeral service ahead of time. I am happy to visit you and talk through anything that helps, spend some time together and to do what will help you.

Supporting You Through Grief
The death of someone you love is one of life’s most painful events, but I want you to know that you are not alone.
​
From our initial contact I will work with you to arrange the most convenient and comfortable time and place to meet, we will have a warm and easy talk together and create ideas for the service.
​
I will then create a unique and totally personal draft of the service that you will be able to see prior to the day of the funeral so you can be sure it is exactly as it needs to be. Of course I can recommend poems and readings but I am equally happy to write a poem especially for your loved one - these are always very well received.
​
On the day of the service I will gently lead you through each moment so that we can honour and remember your loved one and pay a fitting tribute to their life.
​
I remain here after the day of the service, for any support, to check in with, or to help guide you, in time to come, to other sources or groups of support on the path of grief.
